The system is used for automating the filling of a water tank by a water pump situated up to 20 kilometres away (within line of sight).
It operates on the 169MHz frequency that is completely free-to-use, according to the latest EU legislation.
It consists of a transmitter, installed in the tank and a receiver installed in the pump's electrical panel. The transmitter monitors the level of the tank and emits START or STOP commands accordingly. The advantage lies in that commands from the tank to the pump are wirelessly emitted, significantly reducing the cost of installation and maintenance. The commands are fully encoded to ensure security and do not interfere with neighboring systems.
The system is also available for control of two, three or four pumps from a single tank.(ΡΤ720D, PT720T & PT720Q)
